Hello!

My name is Midori , the owner and operator of Thai Yoga Massage Holistic and Wellness Spa WIND CHANNEL. Thank you for visiting my website and learning more about the services I can offer to assist you in your wellness journey. 

First, let me tell you a little bit about myself.  

Before moving to Canada in 2015, I owned and operated my own massage salon in my hometown of Tokyo, Japan for over 10 years.

In 2003, I discovered my future career while visiting my local library. One magazine headline entitled “Why don’t you study Thai massage abroad?” caught my eyes. Before this moment I had never considered studying Thai massage, let alone pursuing it as a career, but seeing that magazine headline peaked my interest to learn more. I began researching Thai massage schools in Bangkok and soon travelled to Thailand to study Thai massage.  

During my time in Bangkok, I completed an intensive Thai massage program—which included basic, intermediate, and advanced techniques—and completed another certification program in foot reflexology.

Afterwards, I returned to Tokyo and began practicing Thai massage in numerous well-regarded massage salons, expanding my knowledge of massage therapy to include oil, hot stone, pohaku, and lomi lomi massage.

One year after seeing that fateful magazine headline, I established my own business as an independent Thai massage practitioner, offering relaxation therapy in the comfort of my clients’ own homes.

In order to offer my clients the best care possible, I travel back to Thailand every year to learn new massage techniques, including: 

• Thai traditional Tok Sen massage

• Herbal treatments

• Thai Reflexology Foot massage

• Postnatal care massage

• RUSIE DUTTON BASIC,ADVANCED COURSE (Thai style Yoga)

• Abdominal massage (Chi Nei Sang)

• Ayuruveda Indian massage

• Human anatomy 

• And many more…

In 2008, I expanded my business by opening a relaxation spa, working with over 1,200 customers each year. The relaxation spa also served as a school, allowing me to teach aspiring students the necessary skills to become successful Thai massage practitioners.

While I love Thai massage, my true passion is helping clients address their physical health problems and mental stress. I always go above and beyond to help my clients and to make sure they leave their massage appointments happy.
